Parting ways with loved goods

An unlikely style icon – “The Nanny named Fran”

Fran Fine (or Drescher in real life) is up there (right next to CB Carrie Bradshaw) in my best ever, iconic, amazing, sexy women, who I would be honoured if I could be even a little bit as fabulous as their baby toe! Ladies who lunch mean business

My girlfriends and I are similar on so many levels, we share a love for lolly water sweet wine, Taylor Swift’s bangs and obsess over Victoria’s Secret [i.e. which angel supermodel would you be if one broke its leg and you had to be one]. Yet our career paths went in very different directions with the majority of them becoming nursie girls [...nurses]p>

See more racing at Seymour

I'm not usually one to go by the 'hair of the dog' theory; weak would typically be an understatement when Penny and BIG weekends are mentioned in the same sentence. However, I am slowly whipping my wimpy 5ft "something girly frame into gear, and programing my mind to 'Spring Racing Season' longevity mode

Avoid a hairy situation

I cut my hair a couple of months ago in a bid to rid the 'pageant locks' after a round of the Miss Universe Australia circuit (a whole other story which this blog leaves little to no room for; if you think Fashions on the Field is daunting, try doing it in a bikini and stilettos and THEN we'll talk about nerves!) So. I went the chop, relieved to feel 20kg lighter and no longer scared of being strangled in my sleep by my own mane
