In July 2014 Member for Western Victoria, Simon Ramsay, and Liberal Candidate for Ripon, Louise Staley, attended the July 8th jumpouts at Burrumbeet to celebrate funding from the Victorian Coalition Government to help purchase a storage shed for starting gates at the racetrack.
In 2013 the Club completed a major project to upgrade the laneway between the horse stalls and mounting yard with a post and four rail white poly product. The works have created dual lane access to the mounting yard, improved safety for horses and patrons while also greatly enhancing the visual appeal of facilities upon arrival at the racecourse.
The project was very generously supported by Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock and Think Fencing.
Enjoy the hospitality offered by this unique country club as you experience some great country racing!
