The Ballarat Turf Club is one of regional Victoria's most progressive clubs with over 30 race meets in the 2009-2010 race season, with the feature event being the Sportsbet.com.au Ballarat Cup held Wednesday 18th November. The club boasts two grassed racing tracks, a Tier One Training Facility which accommodates over 300 horses each morning. The Ballarat Turf Club has modern grandstand facilities, members and visitor facilities on course, which places Ballarat Turf Club ahead of its regional competitors.
The club hosts a variety of special members events, one of those being in the Spring Carnival as a lead-up to Sportsbet.com.au Ballarat Cup. Members are given up-to-date information on the track and local trainers give their tips on winners for the day. Members also receive priority bookings for Sportsbet.com.au Ballarat Cup,

Neat and tidy casual, collar shirt (men)
Neat and tidy casual race wear (women)
Sportbet.com.au Ballarat Cup:
Gentlemen: Suit and tie required (no exceptions)
Women: race wear that is suitable for the day.
All children under 16 must also be suitable dressed.
