Cranbourne Turf Club

The Cranbourne Turf Club holds close to its heart a very proud history dating back to 1867.

In the racing season of 2014/15, in its 147th year, the Cranbourne Turf Club opens the most exciting chapter yet with the unveiling of the Grandstand redevelopment. We continue on with the successful Browns Sawdust & Shavings Night Racing commencing on 10th October 2014.  The Cranbourne Turf Club has long been known as a progressive racing club and in March 2012 we became only the second thoroughbred racing club in Victoria to race under lights, broadcasting live to millions throughout Australia, Asia, America and Europe.

Did you know the Cranbourne Racing precinct is the nation’s busiest racing facility with:

  • 102 race meeting each year across the three codes
  • Up to 850 horses trained daily at the Cranbourne Training Centre
  • Over 105 trainers calling the precinct home
  • Over 500 official race trials each year
  • The biggest training facility in the Southern Hemisphere

With the wonderful new facilites opening in September 2014 and night racing now a permanent fixture on the Cranbourne Turf Club calendar, there has never been a better time to enjoy the excitement and the fun as a member of the Cranbourne Turf Club.

There are several types of membership available in season 2014/15 at Cranbourne Turf Club:

  • Dual Code Membership
  • Family Membership
  • Young Membership (35 and under)

The Gold Membership category includes a merchandise pack and a hospitality component, plus a text message from form expert Dean Lester each race meeting held at Cranbourne with his best bet.

With the purchase of any membership you have the option of purchasing a transferable guest members pass for $85.00.
