Attendance at the Terindah Estate Geelong St Patrick's Cup is a great way to start your year in racing.
Co-inciding with the Yalumba Golden Mile at Bendigo, and being close to St Patrick's Day, provides an opportunity for the punter and party-goer to win at the races. While there are plenty of people dressed in Green and having fun in the marquees, there are serious race-goers frequenting the mounting yard and stalls, setting up a big win.
Party-goers can revel in the sounds of the live band, coordinating Irish music with more contemporary music - alll located on the Corporate Terrace lawn with good views of the finishing post. It is very easy to bet with a tote being provided plus a bookmaker on the lawn.
Marquees, Umbrellas and Party Marquees can be hired for an enjoyable day where you have a base to come back to. Catering and Drinks can be provided or you can bring you own food. Drinks packages are provided in the larger marquees.
For dining in comfort, the Silks Room provides first-class facilities, including tiered tables with TV's overlooking the track to watch your horse come home.
A bus is provided for racegoers coming and going back to Melbourne by rail from the South Geelong Railway Station.
At the end of the day, racegoers are invited to the "after-party" at the famous Elephant and Castle Hotel in Myers St.
The committee includes local business men and women and our sponsors are local businesses. Membership of the club is available by completing a form on line
