The members and committee invite you to spend a day at the Healesville picnic races this season. We hope our web site provides the information you need, but please don't hesitate to contact us with any further enquiries.
Our club operates to promote thoroughbred horse racing at the grass roots of the racing industry.
Our aim is to allow the general public to participate in thoroughbred horse racing in the relaxed atmosphere of picnic racing and to give all owners, trainers, riders and officials the opportunity to enjoy this sector of thoroughbred racing.
The intention is to continue to develop and maintain the Healesville racecourse and facilities and to provide community service plus the ongoing promotion of Healesville and the surrounding district.
The committee members of the Healesville Amateur Racing Club, believe we have a lot to offer your organisation, social club, sporting club, or just the family and friends during a wonderful day at the picturesque Healesville racecourse.
Function co-ordinator, Michelle Purvis, will be able to organise the hire of marquees. Marquee packages include a marquee, tables and chairs. Catering can also be organised through our two caterers or you can bring your own food and drink.
If you are coming with a large group, but do not require a marquee, a roped off area can be organised. A fee of $100 is required to secure your own area.
Whatever the size or needs of your group we can help make your day a success.
Marquee bookings close 10 days before each race meeting and need to be paid in full at this time. Roped off area's can be booked and paid for up to the Wednesday before the race meeting.
Six meetings during the season make a Healesville Amateur Racing Club membership
package great value. Membership benefits include:
Regular membership gives you $130 of value for a low cost of only $50.

Please use the form below to supply contact details and the type of membership required.
Many people who become members simply want to enjoy the racing season, while others find it very rewarding to be involved with the running of the club. At committee level, people are needed to provide practical assistance with a wide range of tasks associated with race day. A strong membership base ensures the continuance of our club and allows plans to be made for future improvements to the course and facilities.
HARC Memberships make great gifts. If a person special to you likes the picnic races, a season's membership is a unique birthday, Father's Day, Mother's Day or Christmas gift.
