‘Green’ Light on Kilmore Turf for January 15th

After 7 months of extensive turf renovations, Racing Victoria has given the green light on Kilmore Racing Clubs Turf track.
The Club is delighted to be ‘back on the turf’, with the close to 1 million dollar drainage project becoming complete. Riders Fabian Alessi and Dean Holland gave the Kilmore track the all clear from a riders perspective this morning. The track was reported with the footing being fine in the concerned area of the home straight which has been the last to receive works.

Sunday January 15th 2012, the first race back is the annual fundraising race day for the Kilmore and District Hospital and couldn’t be better suited for a dual celebration within the community.
Themed ‘Kids Day Out’ the day joins in with Country Racings Family Day’s with plenty of free activities, events, games and rides all free for children. Proceeds from races and admission go directly to the Kilmore and District Hospital.
