OPERATIONS MANAGER - BENDIGO JOCKEY CLUB

 

A unique opportunity exists to join one of Central Victoria’s most prominent sporting organisations.

 

The Bendigo Jockey Club is a premier thoroughbred racing venue, hosting 23 race meetings annually including the Jayco Bendigo Cup and the $1m Yalumba Golden Mile raceday in autumn together with a number of non raceday events.

 

The newly created Operations Manager role is a key management position reporting directly to and working closely with the CEO. You will be responsible for the smooth delivery of all club operational activities, including racedays and other functions and events.

 

The development of positive working relationships with all club stakeholders, contractors, customers and staff, combined with administrative and financial acumen provides a diverse range of responsibilities in an exciting environment. The position offers scope for candidates from a variety of backgrounds looking to progress their career in the sport management sector.

 

A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

A unique and exciting opportunity exists for an innovative, commercially orientated and customer focused individual to join the Kyneton and Hanging Rock Racing Club in the role of Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for the day to day operation of the business. The position will involve the role of Club Secretary under the Rules of Racing which includes management responsibility for race meetings, day to day administration of the Club and regular liaison with the Kyneton and Hanging Rock Committee and its Sub Committees. The position will report to the Chairman of the Kyneton and Hanging Rock Racing Club Inc.

 

An appropriate salary that recognises the importance of this key role will be provided to the
