The Port of Sale represents a significant historic and environmental asset in the centre of Sale. Check on the progress of the multi-million-dollar redevelopment of the Port – the most significant project for Wellington for many decades. A stroll around this area is most enjoyable but you may also consider a Cruise or boat hire. Its an exciting and evolving place.

There is a Fauna Park right in the middle of Sale, Cullinan Park, a delightful place for a picnic or BBQ lunch. After lunch take a relaxing stroll around Lake Guthridge and the River Heritage and Wetlands Trail. The Historical Museum is very close, so you can take in some of the historic aspects of the area, plus the Vehicle Collection Museum at the Maffra Shed.

Surrounding places of interest include Marley Point, where Yacht racing is held, the Oil & Natural Gas Display Centre, and of course the RAAF Base East Sale, the home of the Roulettes.
